ADi is engaged in a number of projects and activities ranging from individual projects to larger collaborative activities focused on the advancement of design knowledge and application. All activities are based on the purpose of ADi as it is stated in the Mission Statement.

Research & Development

ADi works in collaboration with academic research departments to expand scholarly and pragmatic theories of design.

    Ongoing activities are formed around the folowing themes:

Design Learning

ADi promotes design education, mentoring and skill development through conferences, workshops, seminars and coaching both on individual, group and organizational levels. Examples of presentations and seminars:

Design Consulting

Promotion of Advanced Design

ADi's mission is to increase public awareness and acceptance of design ideas and applications. This is done in many ways.
